Today is World Humanitarian Day, a day designated by the United Nations for the global community to come together to support humanitarian work with a mindset of giving and helping to improve the world around us.
Today we couldn’t be more thrilled to put a spotlight on three organizations making a meaningful impact on our communities.
- KodeConnect: KodeConnect seeks to expose and engage underserved youth in dynamic STEM learning experiences. They are inspiring a generation of problem solvers, collaborators, and innovators. KodeConnect kids envision themselves as critical thinkers and in STEM careers.
- Direct Relief: Direct Relief is a humanitarian organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies.
- Arbor Day Foundation: Arbor Day Foundation is an organization dedicated to planting trees. The Arbor Day Foundation has more than one million members and has planted more than 350 million trees in neighborhoods, communities, cities, and forests throughout the world.
As part of our GoTo Essential Connections launch and in honor of World Humanitarian Day, we are thrilled to donate our new bundle combining both our communications product, GoTo Connect, and our new IT Support tool, GoTo Resolve, along with some well-earned cash to these three organizations!
While this day of recognition gives us an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the work of some tremendous organizations, we believe that this work needs to be done each and every day, year-round. GoTo Gives, our Philanthropy and Volunteering program, has been the vehicle through which we fulfill our mission to create a more sustainable world by connecting the next generation workforce to the power of possibilities. Our three impact areas are: Education & Youth, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Action. Through financial support and direct service, GoTo employees lead with purpose.
